The Firm is poised for exceptional growth and the EVP of Global Sales is seeking a honed sales executive who ideally has been in situations where growth has exceeded market expectations and everyone pulled their weight to benefit.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for generating significant revenue by establishing and growing strategic partnerships with consumer brand clients.

The ideal Sales Director is a self-starter, extremely dynamic, highly entrepreneurial and well connected within the marketing community of consumer brands. They will have experience working with and securing multi-million dollar and six-figure deals directly with the F1000 / Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn brands who want intimate access to their consumers. A person who is an Advertising Sales Executive who has sold to consumer brands will fully appreciate what is offered.

In the boardroom with a CMO or a consumer brand manager at a major automotive or CPG, this sales executive should enjoy selling solutions "with real results" that keep consumer brands coming back for increased engagement because they work!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently hit and/or exceed revenue goals and other KPI’s. A person who enjoys their clients and wants to offer proven solutions to influence consumers.
  • Proactively communicate and strategically respond to marketplace demands and events by developing a steady pipeline of new business with consumer brands
  • Leverage existing relationships to maximize both short and long-term revenue opportunities with consumer brands.
  • Navigate direct consumer brand relationships to identify and establish internal champions to achieve “buy-in”, which leads to strategic partnerships
  • Use Salesforce to maintain organization and transparency with other team members
  • Initially close, then expand business with consumer brands to achieve enterprise status across multiple product lines. Should feel comfortable with CMO's, Brand Managers and Creatives at the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brands
  • Champion the Firm’s mission and dominance as a Consumer Activation Platform for consumer brands and leader in the User Generated Content category within the industry and at related industry functions

Qualifications

  • 6-10+ years of media sales or advertising sales or strategic partnership or business development experience selling directly to Consumer Brands.
  • Exposure to Social Media, C2C or Consumer Generated Content is a plus. However, must have experience selling to consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue goals and developing large-scale partnerships with the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn consumer brands
  • A person who feels comfortable in the boardroom with a CMO of an automotive; the brand managers at CPG's, marketers at QSR's, Beverage, Adult Beverage, Travel & Leisure, Financials, Telecom... etc. and all the senior executives and brand managers of the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brands who want to engage consumers and build brand loyalty and awareness, with proven results for their consumer brands
  • The past/current 3-5 years of your experience should be closing deals at all levels of direct brand clients. You should feel comfortable will all levels of client interaction
  • Experience introducing new products / marketing concepts to marketers, creatives, brand managers and or CMO's at consumer brands.
  • The Firm’s success with Consumer Brands of the Fortune 50- 1000 and Unicorn Brands was earned, not given. We seek a sales professional who wants to be compensated for their consumer brand relationships who desire proven solutions.

Duties

Skills and Experience Required

5-7 years of combined media sales, strategic partnership or business development experience selling to Fortune 50-1000 or Unicorn Brands offering related C2C, B2C, Social Networking, Direct to Consumer or User Generated Content as components of your offings.

Of the 7-10 years of experience, a minimum of 3-5 years must be closing business at all internal levels of direct brand clients vs. just their advertising agencies.

Exposure to selling SaaS | software-as-a-service for turn-key solutions to clients in the media, entertainment, media technology, social media or advertising industries would be a big plus.

The firm offers clients enormous creative, technology and media resources.  This sales executive should feel empowered walking into global brands with the full resources of a world-class digital advertising agency with cutting edge, verifiable efficacy from other Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn Brands

This sales executive should have experience introducing new products and marketing concepts to marketers who at times are not aware of the "most advanced" or "most effective" solutions to engage consumers.

Duties

  • The Sales Development Director is responsible for conceiving and developing creative marketing solutions and supporting sales collateral that leverages the full breadth of the firm's consumer activation platform for global brands.
  • Clients are major entities within the Fortune 50 - 1000 , Unicorn Brands and advertising agencies.
  • This role requires a self-starter who is innovative and takes initiative to think creatively and strategically while working collaboratively as a team player and on independent projects.
  • This professional should have strong presentation, copy, and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone with an exceptional attention to detail that enjoys a deadline-driven, upbeat work environment from creative conception to execution.
  • The “ideal-director” has the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects while making sure responses to business opportunities flow well, look great and are designed to activate customers. Target verticals include the world’s leading Automotive, CPG, Electronics, Gaming, Entertainment, Sports, Travel & Leisure, QSR’s and many others that the company presents to and services.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Deep experience conceptualizing integrated ideas, writing proposals for RFP responses, full sales support from a business perspective (including decks and one-sheets) and creatively bringing them to life, visually.
  • The ability to think strategically, understanding sales and marketing needs and translating those needs into compelling concepts and programs that create client enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with others who also enjoy the process and workflow of conceiving and creating these types of creative sales and marketing materials and ideas for clients that activate consumers.
  • A Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in related media with 3-4 years of interactive and or social media exposure that activates consumers
  • Any experience planning or strategic planning in an advertising agency or media environment where great ideas come to fruition, when placed, in front of the right audience.
  • Must be detailed oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and drive process in a consistent manner for proposed timelines.
  • Excellent reasoning and "idea" skills to comprehend what the client needs and then engage and motivate consumers.
